Parents of Gurraneasig
Part of what makes Gurraneasig School so special is the parental involvement with the school. The signs of parental involvement are everywhere through out the school and as such it gives the school a very strong community feel. The Parent Association is very active in promoting the well being of the school and the activities they provide, help parents to make a positive contribution to their children’s education. We have parents helping out with the gardening and the general up keep of the grounds, often giving lessons on how to plant vegetables etc. The iPads in the school are kept up to date and in working condition by parents. Occasionally parents will give the kids workshops on their areas of expertise.
