Heritage Schools Weaving Visit

On Friday, we had a visit from Heritage Schools Specialist Geraldine. Geraldine visited Gurraneasig to teach all the classes about the traditional crafts of spinning and weaving.

The children got to learn about the spinning wheel and even got to try on some clothes made out of wool.

The children then got to practice weaving to make a cool bracelet. All the class loved their bracelets and learned so much from Geraldine’s visit
