West Cork Quarter final debate v St Joseph’s GNS Skibbereen

Motion - “Sports stars are bad role models for children.”

We were proposing the motion which was a very hard sell! Fair play to our brave debate team who really put it up to Skibbereen GNS in the quarter final. It really was a very close debate.

We had the interruption of storm Barra for the 2 presiding days but that is no excuse and we really wish Skibbereen the best of luck in the semi finals. Really proud of the whole class for their efforts over the 1st term with debating - a skill for life.
