Studying Our Local Habitat

As part of the science curriculum the children observed, discussed and identified a variety of common plants, birds and animals at the beach. We also integrated our geography curriculum by observing , collecting and investigating a variety of natural materials in the local environment such as mud, sand, pebbles, shells, stones and rocks.
